Post Office Petition

Sign the petition calling on The Post Office to re-open the Mill Street Post Office / or a similar premises in the centre of Pontypridd as soon as possible.

The closure of Mill Street Post Office has meant that in order to access the services that were offered in the Town Centre residents are now required to make a trip to one of the sub-postoffices in the surrounding area.  This has a potential knock on effect of fewer people going to the Town Centre which would result in reduced trade for other shops and businesses based there.  Not least, it also leads to inconvenience for Post Office customers.

Mae cau Swyddfa Post Stryd y Felin wedi golygu bod rhaid i drigolion fynd tu-hwnt i'r dref er mwyn cael mynediad at wasanaethau oedd ar gael yno. Mae yna botensial y caiff hyn effaith ar y nifer o bobl yn mynd fewn i dref Pontypridd, gan felly effeithio ar bobl yn cefnogi siopau a busnesau eraill. Mae hefyd yn anghyfleus iawn i gwsmeriaid Swyddfa'r Post.

Pontypridd needs the Post Office to reopen I use it whenever I’m in town and so does my dad. It would be a real hardship to those of us who don’t do internet banking or prefer to pay our bills via the post office. We need to be able to have easy access in town where we can get busses to and from Pontypridd.

Another nail in the Pontypridd coffin along with the closure of the Driving Test Centre in Pwllgwaun.

I used to use the Post Office in Mill Street on a daily basis and this is causing extreme difficulties for me and my staff having to use the sub Post Office in Trallwn. Post Office urgently needed in the town centre of Pontypridd.
