Update from Danny Grehan, Plaid Cymru's Tonyrefail East Councillor on difficulties contacting Park Lane Surgery

The biggest complaint on the doorstep during the local election was the fact that it is such an ordeal to get through to the surgery. 

I am glad to say that their present phone contract comes to an end soon, and they will be installing a new system, which will make it easier to get through to the surgery.

They will also be starting the My GP on-line system which will allow people to book appointments on-line. After corresponding with the surgery, it appears that the difficulty in recruiting GPs is the greatest problem they face. Cwm Taf UHB need to take urgent and immediate action, as this is a problem throughout the area.
