Sign the petition calling on The Post Office to re-open the Mill Street Post Office / or a similar premises in the centre of Pontypridd as soon as possible.
The closure of Mill Street Post Office has meant that in order to access the services that were offered in the Town Centre residents are now required to make a trip to one of the sub-postoffices in the surrounding area. This has a potential knock on effect of fewer people going to the Town Centre which would result in reduced trade for other shops and businesses based there. Not least, it also leads to inconvenience for Post Office customers.

Mae yna botensial y caiff hyn effaith ar y nifer o bobl yn mynd fewn i dref Pontypridd, gan felly effeithio ar bobl yn cefnogi siopau a busnesau eraill. Mae hefyd yn anghyfleus iawn i gwsmeriaid Swyddfa'r Post.

Furthermore Pontypridd needs this service to continue to support the community and Older people for the foreseeable future and this is a main reason why many people still visit Pontypridd as the heritage of Pontypridd has been lost due to the lack of support for small businesses, market place and little funding. Pontypridd has been forgotten about and I hope this can change of the better and a good starting place would be to provide the people of Pontypridd & the Valleys with a fit of purpose Post Office.
