Scott Bevan has been chosen to stand in the Llantwit Fardre ward for the community council.
Scott Bevan said: “I am pleased to be chosen by Plaid Cymru locally to stand in the Community council by-election on Thursday 22 June.
“I stood last year for the first time for the county council seat. It is time for a fresh start for the Llantwit Fardre ward.
“The main theme of my campaign is connecting our community, which means people and places.
“I will campaign for improvements to community spaces and new local events, along with better transport links like bus services and making our streets safe.
“If elected I will join the team of Plaid Cymru county and community councillors across Rhondda Cynon Taf and will be able to work with them and South Wales Central MS Heledd Fychan on these issues.
“I am a local resident with a history of public service. I believe in promoting our community so that it is the best place for working families to thrive.”
