Scott Bevan has been chosen to stand in the Llantwit Fardre ward for the community council.

Scott Bevan said: “I am pleased to be chosen by Plaid Cymru locally to stand in the Community council by-election on Thursday 22 June.

“I stood last year for the first time for the county council seat. It is time for a fresh start for the Llantwit Fardre ward.

“The main theme of my campaign is connecting our community, which means people and places.

Following Rhondda Cynon Taf Council Cabinet's decision to approve a proposal to close Garth Olwg Care Home, Heledd Fychan, Plaid Cymru Member of the Senedd for South Wales Central has expressed her disappointment on behalf of the residents and staff of the home.
